More Clippies!

I am having so much fun creating these little clippy creatures that I can't stop. :) During the summer months, it's hard to stay in the sewing room... the heat and the activities never end. The solution is to sit for a bit and create little clippies! Of course, these guys have been added to the site (or will be shortly).

On another note, I am preparing for the upcoming holiday season. November brings the annual craft show (which I am already preparing for) and I will be adding to the website my holiday schedule in the next week or two. I realize it is only July, but for me, it seems December is looming. More on this as I figure it out...

School starts back shortly too! That is always a love/hate relationship for me... while I enjoy the peace and quiet, I also miss the noise too. I know, that doesn't make any sense. But for those with kids, you know what I mean! LOL, when we finally get that break away from our families, that's all we can think of and miss them to pieces!

So Sew Busy!

Well, it's summer and it's always busy during the summer months but it seems like the last few weeks have been especially busy!

I was very blessed to have several great orders come in last week and was busy getting those out. During all of this, our church was also planning our annual church-wide picnic/campout.

We had a blast and I don't think my photos do the campout justice! As you can see, the main attraction was a massive water slide and it wasn't limited to just the kids: I have photos of the older folks havin' a blast too! I'll post those soon, enjoy these for now!

Other than the great water slide, I did have some exciting deliveries this week! Some of my fall fabrics are starting to trickle in. I will post photos of those as soon as I have a few minutes to take them.

New Bows available at The Trendy Spot

It's been so busy and crazy here the last two weeks! I have found a little time to create some neat little clippies and hairbows and add them to the Store.

New Camera Excitement

I just got a new camera!!! I'm so excited to finally get a Rebel but a bit disappointed becuase I haven't gotten to use it much! We had a yard sale over the weekend but I managed to take a few pictures...

This is my son's girlfriend...

This one is of a little kitten that got dumped off here. It's about 6 weeks old now and finally getting a little bit of weight on it. She is very active and makes a great subject for photos!

Next week I intend to get some serious sewing done! It's been so busy around here this summer that I haven't gotten much done but I can't wait to get a few new items done. Be sure to watch out for these new items soon!
